I am researching free blacks in Norfolk and have found several references to Felix Pierre Bobee.He freed several slaves and I've copied some documents that mention him, in addition to his will.Do you have information on him prior to and after his arrival in Norfolk?I'd be interested in whatever information you have, as I'm building a "manumitter's" biographical database as I go along.

I'm also trying to document as I go along, the French presence in Norfolk, so any information you could share with me would be appreciated.Thanks.
