Guess I should have looked up the meaning of "dolors", huh!I think the book may contain some errors.Edward and Marie are my great grandparents.They had most of their children in Adams (a couple born in Canada, and I find no record of a birth for a Hormisdas, (and no ties to Marlboro MA, either.)The census information seems to confirm that they didn't have a son Hormisdas.The Adams vitals give many variations for the names of Edward and Marie, which without benefit of family sources might have proved VERY difficult to decipher. I guess nothing short of a visit to Adams will clear up some of these mysteries.Maybe someday!Does the book give an approximate date for the marriage of Hormisdas in Marlboro?Thanks for your help.
