you might want to check Culpeper Va. I am descended from Thornhills,in Bryant Thornhills will(the appraisal) it lists a John Boulley. This was 1780. Also his daughter married a Boley which could be Boulley mid 1700s. The counties were changed quite a bit so could be Culpeper, Rappahannock, or Orange.Marilyn
