Bollee family - originally from France

By genealogy.com user July 15, 2000 at 05:02:06

I am interested in information about the Bollee family (more accurately Bollée). Some of the names mentioned in this forum may be variations of Bollee. It is believed that this is a Huguenot family that fled from France sometime during the religeous troubles in the 16th and 17th centuries. There are still Bollee's in France and the Netherlands (where I live). I know that the name also occurs in the USA, and that there were Bollees living in Ohio in the middle of the 19th century.
