Dooley/Boley family reunion next month in Oregon.
There is going to be a family reunion on July 6th at Red Sunset park in Gresham Oregon, for the Dooley's, however it also includes Boley's. It isn't going to be a large reunion though, so don't count on hundreds of people. Anyway the information I can give on the line is going to start with Boley's. Nicholas Boley, married Nancy Watson, and had at least one child, William W. Boley, who married Susan Jones, and had at least one son named, David Thompson Boley, who married Vesta Ann Standford, and had at least one son named Leo Guy Boley, who married Maud Lula Curts, they had at least one Daughter named Frances A. Boley, who Married Gilbert Hiram Dooley, they had a few children, one of which was David Gilbert Dooley, my grandfather. Found another relative I didn't know I had last night, Nicholas Boley is a great great grandfather os his, and he is a Boley, he has been invited to come to the reunion. All the Dooley reunions are usually a potluck of somekind due to nobody in the family having enough money to fork out that kind of cash. Not everyone brings a dish, and not everyone who does bring something brings something large, but thats ok. The reunions usually seem to go around different members of the family getting to meet each other or see each other after a long time, and talk about new things going on, talking about memories of family members passed on, etc. There are a diverse range of people at the reunion, from Redneck, to Rocker, to stuck up yuppy types, but we are all family and we all love each other, and that puts any differences aside for most of us. If you are of this line feel free to contact me via this e-mail address or via telephone at 503-760-0498 you can also reach Susan Carol Dooley, my mother, and daughter to David Gilbert Dooley, at this number. I might have contact info on other members of the family if you are looking to get in touch with them.
