Dale, I reviewed post #1961 and found a mistake I made in transcribing a passage from the Memoir of Robert Bolling. Here it is as it should read:
"He [John Bolling] married Mary, daughter of Richard Kennon of Conjuror's Neck, by whom he had one son, John Bolling, born 20 Jan'y, 1700, and five daughters:
Jane, born 1703; married _____ to Richard Randolph [of Curls].
Mary, in 1711; married to John Fleming.
Elizabeth, born in 1709; married _____ to Dr. William Gay.
Martha, born in 1713; married _____to Mr. Thomas Eldridge.
Anne, born in 1718; married _____ to Mr. James Murray."
Eveline (Evelina) Bolling, 1790-1863, was the daughter of John Bolling IV and his wife, a different Mary Kennon - the confusion is understandable.According to Pocahontas' Descendants Evelina had a sister named Susan who married a John Scott. So I suspect this may explain the mistaken addition of two names to the six children cited above. As for my transcribing error, I apologize.Fred
