Tom, I am the one who wrote in this very thread that there were two different Nancy Temples, one who died in 1823, and one who died in 1834, remember?

But to get back to the main subject, my first message in this thread was about Temple-Bonner marriages. I even changed the subject line to read "Temple-Bonner marriage(s)". In your last message you wrote "It could be that whoever this mother of Robert Bonner is, married to a Temple after Robert's father died". You do realize, don't you, that this would be a Temple-Bonner marriage? That's real progress, Tom! Congratulations!

I feel as though we are half-way to a breakthrough, Tom! Now let's see if we can get the other half-way....

At the Temple Genealogy website, there is this page:
http://www.temple-genealogy.com/b250.htmhttp://www.temple-genealogy.com/b250.htm

On that page it says, "Peter Temple's Bible indicates her name was Ann Bonner."

Also on this page:
http://www.temple-genealogy.com/b1919.htmhttp://www.temple-genealogy.com/b1919.htm

It says, "His family Bible listed his wife as Ann Bonner."

And on this page:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mysouthernfamily/GUESTBOO/Guestbook2000.htmhttp://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mysouthernfamily/GUESTBOO/Guestbook2000.htm

"I am descended from Peter Temple His Bible says wife is Nancy (Ann) Bonner, don't know who she is."

Tom, why do you imagine that these people are saying that the Bible says her name is Ann Bonner, while you are saying that it says Eppes?

It's such a pity that your copy is impossibly barricaded like that. I guess we'll just have to take your word for it.
