Yes, your Grandfather William I. Borgman was one of the descendants. Welcome to the family, Cuz!! William is descended down from John Garrett Henry Borgman, who's father went by the same name, Johann Gerh "Garrett" Henrich Borgman. He was married to Lucy Margaret Deaker (or Dierker?). They are my GG-Grandparents, and yours too!!
> I believe my sister and I are the end of the "Borgman" name on this branch... William I. had six children :> ...Leona, Anna, John, William, Joseph and Francis. None of the male children had male offspringto carry> on the name.
Tis a shame, and a little odd actually. But, you're carrying it on for them, right?
> I was just bopping around on the net and saw your page. I'll get more into it and get back to you.
Please feel free to donate stories, or photos on your family for the Homesite. Your branch migrated to McKees Rock, PA so I don't have as much information on them after they left the Preston County, WV area.I think your Grandfather William is in some of the Borgman Reunion photos. Maybe you can help identify him, and some of the others if we don't have them identified.I think your William was called "Bill" and he actually visited Kingwood several times after leaving there.
Welcome back to the family Betty!!!
