Re: Borlands of Iowa

My BORLAND's are from MN, IA and SD. My grandfather lived his lasy years in HAmpton
He was Archie Borland (1847 to 1936). His wife was a PURDIE. She also lived and dies in HAmpton a year after my granfather. I just noticed recenly that her father , or grandfather was buried in Clear LAke, IA. MAybe a connection. Did your BORLANDS come from PA before Iowa?
