Baby girl taken in and raised by Volney Bostick family

Please!!!! Looking for any information concerning a baby girl ( Lillie May Bostick-Reed,Rushing) taken in and raised by Volney Bostick family in San Saba,Texas in 1883/84. Bostick family raised her for 16/17 years-she worked for Volney father (Sion R. Bostick) in boarding house that he run until she married Frank Forest REED in 1898 then she moved to Archer City,Texas. Sion R. Bostick had a large family and surely one of them wrote in a family ledger or bible this happening-perhaps her real last name. All records concerning her indicate last name as BOSTICK but I was informed that back then as perhaps even today that when you take in a bay and raise for that many years it was a frontier adoption. PLEASE--this baby girl is my grandmother-any information or leads forever grateful---Thank You & God Bless
