Sara and her brother James C. ROPER (b 17 Feb 1813, d 04 Oct 1897) seem to have been the only two children of a ROPER who died at a young age.Sara and her brother were participants in a probate dispute determined by the North Carolina Supreme Court in 1849:
Hart v. Roper, 41 N.C. 349, 1849 N.C. LEXIS 231, 6 Ired. Eq. 349 (N.C. 1849).

I discussed this case and the family of their grandfather James ROPER in my thread:

Recently, the location and genealogical information from the graves of Sara Roper BOSTICK's brother, sister-in-law and nephew were identified on the property of a hunting club.

I was wondering if any members of the Tristram BOSTICK family have any additional information or insight as to the identity of Sara Ann Roper BOSTICK's unidentified father.
