My mothers maiden name was Bott so I have a lot of Botts in my tree. I'm hoping you may help.

I have a Frederick Harold Martin Bott married to an elsie gertrude

This is my mums gecom file I am reading and it only has a father called william. could you tell me more about the family parents grandparents and I will see if they fit in anywhere. I cannot undersatnad why my mumm only has the 3 names for this family with no indication where they fit in. Her tree has around 1900 names. not sure how correct though. guess thats why she gave it to me to look into,
