I saw your message regarding Joseph Bott and the Turner famliy.
My uncle is the great grandson of Humphrey Turner. Humphrey's father was John Turner, Corporal in H Ms 13th light Dragoons. He married Elizabeth Bott in 1832. I presume Elizabeth died as John re-married in England in 1844.
Humphrey eventually moved to Liverpool with his son, Henry. Henry married and had a large family including Frank, my uncle's father.
I'm sure my uncle, Ken Turner, would be delighted to hear from another branch of his family.
