Re: Isaac Bower family (dau Mabel or Mable?)
1900 census Upper Augusta, Northumberland, PA
Bower, Isaac, head, b. Aug 1848, wid, PA PA PA, farmer
Sophie M, dau, b. Apr 1876, m 6 yrs, 1 living child, PA PA PA
Mable A, dau, b. Sept 1883, PA PA PA
Clyde R, son, b. June 1885, PA PA PA
in 1910 Mable had been married less than a year, and one child Russell, under a year old. She then claimed to be 24, putting her birth about 1886.
With widower Isaac giving the census report in 1900, it is possible ages could be a little off.
Also, I couldn't track Isaac back for certain to 1880.There were several Isaac Bower's of about the right age in PA then, none in Northumberland, and none with a daughter Sophie. There was one candidate on earlier census who had a mother named Sophie, and a sister named Sophie.
The 1890 census was destroyed almost entirely, so no luck with that either.

This family remained in Union township through at least 1850 through 1880.
Union township borders Synder township on the south and Northumberland on the east.Union township in Union countywould border Upper Augusta township in Northumberland county.
This looks to be the most likely set of parents. So I would suggest having a probate check on Henry Bower in Union county to see if Isaac Bower in Northumberland is listed as an heir.
