Re: John Henry Boyer, b. 1714 -- Huge Confusion! Help!
I have the same questions after finding internet postings of information on this line. From what I have been able to research, these are the conclusions I have come up with. First, Johan Christopher Beyer/Boyer and his wife Anna Maria (Kuehleisen)Boyer had a son named Johan Philip who (I believe) was born 23 March, 1701 and died 7 May, 1753.From information found it looks like he and his wife had a son named John Henry who was born 13 August, 1727.
Second, Christopher and Maria Boyer also had a son named Johann Heinrich or John Henry, who was born May, 1714.This John Henry Boyer lived to be 100 years old, and died in May, 1814 as published in the newspaper the Reading Adler dated 10 May, 1814.It also stated that he was living with Valentin Beyer in Amity Township, Berks County at the time of his death. My direct line is through Andreas or Andrew Boyer, son of Christopher and Maria and brother of Johan Philip. He was born 30 November, 1709. If you should locate any further information please let me know. Thanks!
