Hi! I've just become connected to the internet, and it was great seeing a familiar name! Your message confused me.I am descended from Israel Bozarth, (supposed son of Joseph Bozarth,) and his second wife, Mary (Polly) Wilson. You cited another name for his second wife.Israel's wife, Mary Wilson Bozarth was living alone in Randolph Co., Arkansas in 1850 Census.Ten years later in the 1860 Census, Mary Wilson Bozarth is living in Miller Co., Missouri with her newly widowed daughter, Mary Ann Bozarth McCrory, wife of James McCrory of Tennessee. How is it known that Israel Bozarth died in 1859?He was in New Madrid Co., Missouri in the 1840 Census, but I have been unable to find anything about him after that Census. Also have lost track of James McCrory, husband of Israel's daughter, Mary Ann Bozarth. He and Mary Ann are in Stoddard Co., Missouri in 1850 living very close to Mary Ann's newly married brother, Jonathan Bozarth.Mary Ann had two sons and one daughter by James McCrory, but he homesteads some land in Dunklin Co., Missouri about 1852 or 53, and then is dead before 1860.
Has anyone discovered proof that Israel Bozarth is son of Joseph Bozarth?I really need that.
