Re: Confederate General Braxton Bragg

Please see my messsage regarding ancestors from England.I have been to the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile and to the grave site of Braxton Bragg.There is a 2-volume book about him which I have not read (gave it to my son) so I don't know how much of his history is in that book.Check out how he was related to Judge John Bragg of Mobile, AL.There seem to be TONS of Braggs out there!I know there were some major family rifts and that one set settled in another southern state and has had nothing to do with the others since.There is also some mention of Indian blood in the family although lots of families make claim to that connection from the 1800's.
