Re: name braithwaite

Hi,
On my tree I have a Mary Braithwaite (b.1816 Hovingham, York) who married John Dowson (b.1808, Slingsby, Yorks).
Mary's father was John Braithwaite (b.1779 Ripon.
His father was George Braithwaite (b.1750 WEst Tanfield)
George's parents I think were Philip Braithwaite (b.1704 Little Ouseburn) and Maragret Pybus (b.1711, Little Ouseburn).

If there is any connection and you can provide additional info I would be most grateful.
