Clovis Brakebill of Texas has recently passed away. Both myself and my late uncle had been corresponding and speaking with him (over the phone) for several years regarding the Cole family ancestors we shared with him. We had many common ancestors, and were both researching the same lines. I know that Mr. Brakebill was a very busy and important man (being, for instance, a former President General of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution), and I also know (because he himself told me so) that he had done a great deal of research on our common Cole, Martin, Rodes, Crawford, Hubbard, Hines, and Dishman ancestors. Do you happen to know whether he ever published the book he was working on, or posted any of his findings on the internet? I would hate to think that all of that invaluable genealogical research will not be shared with other interested researchers (such as myself!).
