Hi,
I noticed the two "LL"'s in your Bralley name and the TX, GA, and AL locations in your query and am taking a long shot hunch to ask..
I'm looking for info on a Melinda or Malinda BRALLEY (could be one "L" or different spelling) that married a Elijah Pettit/Pettett.Bralley could be her maiden name or a previous married name. They could have been married in Gilmer, GA or McMinn Co, TN.They were listed in the 1860 McMinn Co, TN census.Elijah Pettit was married previously to a Tabitha Brashears and then married a Melinda or Malinda Bralley could also be a (Lucy Bralley on one bit of info) according to a friend (in Texas)the family lines.
Apparently Elijah and Tabitha split either in AL or GA in 1841-1843?, and he is the mystery and can't find his grave or any other info.Hope someone here can solve a family mystery.
Any possible leads greatly appreciated.
Thank you all for your assistance.
Feel free to email me direct.
Thanks,
Tiffany
