It has been sometime since I checked this site and I see you need some information about my husband's grandfather.

Daniel Hawes Braman was born in Matagorda, Texas on June 16, 1864 and died at his home in Victoria, TX on the morning of March 15, 1919. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. On Dec 9, 1901, he married Myrtle Barnes (b.2-27-1876 Mexico,MO-d.10-14-1969 Victoria,TX)and they had 3 children: Daniel Hawes b. Jan 23, 1908, Mary Elizabeth b. Feb 2, 1910 and Ellen b. July 11, 1915.

Daniel Hawes Braman, M.D. was a 1890 graduate of Tulane Medical School and returned to Victoria to practice until his death.

Daniel (1864)"Danny" to his family was named for a older brother of the same name who died in 1862 so it can be a real puzzle with all the reoccurring names. The name Mary Elizabeth is the name of Daniel's mother, sister, and daughter.
