Re: Bramans - Easthampton, Ma.
My ggrandfather was Frederick Leon Braman--born in Westfield or W Springfield MA, but the family must have moved to CT at some point as Fred worked there and married Mary Brown Jackson of Wallingford. His father was Alonzo, one of Amasa's younger sons. Now I'm hunting it, I can't find the info, but I don't believe I had Newton included among Amasa's children. (Eureka!)I have some interesting info from "Massachusetts Men in the Civil War" on Amasa's (and three sons') service in the Civil War, if you'd like I'll send it on to you.I don't have a scanner (YET), but should see what family photos of my Braman branch I can dig out! How cool--I think this makes us third cousins.
