Re: Kerrenhappuck Brame
John Brim (Brame), first Brame immigrant about 1657 to Middlesex County, VA is reported to have been involved in Bacon's Rebellion of 1676 when Nathaniel Bacon and his supporters rebelled against Bacon's cousin, Virginia Governor William Berkeley. The rebellion was put down and several of the leaders were hanged. I have found a reference indicating a man whose surname was Richens was among the conspirators in Bacon's rebellion. John Brim later married Mary Dabney and name one of his sons Richens, presumably in honor of his fellow conspirator. Richens Brame I also named one of his sons Richens.
