My records also show that Anton was married to Mary Wissman and they had three children when they came to America:Joseph, Barney and Catherine.Anton died at age 72 and is buried in St. Joseph's cemetery in Egypt, Ohio.He was one of the four people who purchased land from the Piqua, Ohio land office which is now the site of Minster, Ohio.
I show Joseph as being married to Catherine Prenger and they had the following children:
Mary, Tony, Bernard, Kate, Agnes, Joseph, Henry, Herman, Bernadine, Caroline and Josephine.Joseph died at age 86 and is also buried in St. Joseph's cemetery along with his wife.
Bernard, son of Joseph and Catherine, would be my greatgrandfather.
The above is from a book titled "History of Shelby County and Representative Citizens"which does contain more information on Jospeh's life and my greatgrandfather.I am now out of time at my local library and signing off.
I'm taking this from "History of Shelby County and Representative
