I have recently started researching my wife's Braswell ancestor. Martha Braswell married Benjamin Bridgers Jr. I reviewed the Braswell Blogspot and numerous posting by you and Walt on Genforum. What proof is Martha's Grandfather William I is the son of Richard I. William I died in 1720 before Richard died and thus was not in his father's will.

I understand the reasoning that this William was not the son of Susannah Braswell by Richard Towle (and not her spouse Robert).

Also I saw that there was a deed on the blog by Moses Ginn & wife Mary to William Bracewell in Bertie County. "Mary Ginn, late wife of William Bracewellm, decd..."Is Mary Ginn the mother of William II or just a second wife of Willliam I?

Thanks for all your postings.
