ROBINSON BRATCBER was born between 1808 and 1813 in Campbell County, Tennessee. To date, nothing is known of the date, place or circumstances of his death. Family tradition is, that he operated a ferry at the fork of the Clinch and Powell Rivers. He married RHODA, who was born in 1812 in Kentucky. Again, family tradition is, that she was full blood Cherokee Indian. Her photo bears out the Indian blood. The exact date of her death isn't known at this time, however, we do know she died after 1873 and is buried at Glade Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Powells Valley, near LaFollette. Robinson and Rhoda had six sons and one daughter.
