Hello, I recently went to the State of Connecticut site and found information about the Osborne house in that area.I am guessing you are related to the Osborne family that had been in Braintree, MA and surrounding towns, that later moved to Connecticut.I have traced back to George Osbourne, born probably 1733 in unknown location."He came to the Boston-area as a youth" according to a great grandson. Where he came from is not recorded. When he married in Pembroke MA he is listed as a transient.Do your records list a George, born about 1733?George and 3 children married Wades, Plymouth County area, and several later children were baptized by Rev. Ephraim Briggs. Also 4 of George's sons were aboard the frigate Alliance, under Captain Barry, and two died of sword wounds while in port at New London, CN. in June 1782.
