Briggs Cemetery - 5 and 1/2 miles South of New London, Missouri on a Briggs farm.
Briggs Station -flagship station of the Shortline RR, on George W. Briggs farm west of New London. erected in 1892.

Elizabeth Prather Ellsberry]:
"Robert Briggs Cemetery:
Located 5 miles west of New London, Mo. on the farm of Eugene Conn.
Copied by Mrs. Voris Norton
Briggs, Robert d. Feb. 1, 1851 - aged 73 yr. 3 mo., 4 da.
Briggs, Rebecca, w. of Robert, d. April 14, 1850 - aged 68 yr.
Note: Rebecca (Duncan) Stone was the 2nd wife of Robert Briggs.His first wife, mother of all of his children, was Jane Cook, who died in Warren County, Kentucky."

Mount Sterling Cemetery
Located about four miles south of New London, Mo. in the churchyard of Mount Sterling Presbyterian Church. (Note: I believe this is down Route FF off Hwy. 61.It is on the left of road.
