I know this is Old, but so am I, and I'm still looking for My GGrandFather (Bela is what He went by, believe the connection was with MILLER Family since another Elizabeth Briggs, also married a Benjamin MILLER, The Thomas b. 1768, and Lucy Holt, supposed to have been (5) children, and I have three of them, but Never find the other (2), so with Bela, being in Muskingum Co, same time period as all the BRIGGS, family, born in area 1800 1810, and since He died age 30 yrs old, before 1850, both Elizabeth and Bela also buried in Norwich Cem, Muskingum Co, Oh.The Wilson Family married into Brirggs/Bird Families, also Aitken/Aitkins, also ref marriage: Wm Bird BRIGGS & Mary E Wilson, date Oct 24, 1867, She was Dau of John WILSON,& Jane (Crawford) Wilson, marr May 4, 1837 Harrison Co, Oh, (Wilson Family fr Stafford Co, Va).John's Older 1st Born, Brother was Benjamin Wilson My 3rd GGrandFather, so another tie, In.Also, possible a Elizabeth MILLER marr Bela BRIGGS, she was 17, and Bella was of age, (My Recd's indicate marr Lic was issued Mar 22, 1843, and married Mar 23, 1843, in Union Twp, believed to be where they were married.(Elizabeth already had given birth To benjamin B Briggs, b. Feb 7, 1843, so along with that info, and what is available, per Death/Burial, where they lived, and Other factor's, I believe this is an Explanation, of How Benjamin, came into this world, as well as Bela, (I haven't found, anything near his age, at time of birth for Benjamin, and at Bela's death, so everything seem's to be Right.If You or anyone Else can Debate this or add, something either way, I would appreciate, because of all the Families, that I 'm related to follow, the Name Pattern, residence, and marriage's.
