Hello Cuz---glad to see Thomas and MERCY Hurd included into these pages. They are my gr.+ grandparents, via their son Samuel (1/12/1713)in Marlboro-to son Jotham, Asa, Jotham, Col. Henry, Andrew Corthell, Mary Hobart,Mary Stanley, to me and then on to my children, grandchildren and the first gr. grandchild in my section of the 'tree'!!! Very interesting connection to the Hobart family via the daughter Mary, of Andrew Corthell Brigham and Helena Sophis Peterson. Mary was the daughter of Col. Aaron and Thankful (White)(Adams) Hobart.Aaron made cannonballs for the Rev. War. Helped cut the plank for the U. S. S. Contstitution and her sister ship, the U. S. S. Constellation. Was very well known in the now Whitman, Mass. area, was Abington and then So. Abington in the 'olden days'. Just a tidbit of info for you. In your travels in the 'newer'history, have you come across the surname of Stanley, my maternal grandfather's.Am only able to go to his parents-from Manchester, England!!!
