Hi, I have been offline for a few months while moving from North to South Texas and just saw your post which I am copying below regarding the Wesley BRIGHT who was the 1st or 2nd husband of my paternal great grandmother, Rachael Moranda LEWIS, who married under the name Moranda COLEMAN to both Wesley BRIGHT and later to her 2nd/3rd husbhand, my paternal great grandfather, Spencer B. PARKER, son of Sarah "Sally" JENNINGS and Jeremiah "Jerry" PARKER.I recall that there was a HARRELL marriage in the family group as well but am on my laptop with computer tower with all of my files in the shop.I can't remember Rachael Moranda's date of birth right offhand but she was about 8 years older than Spencer whom I believe was born abt. 1859 and Rachael's father, John LEWIS, was born in abt. 1820 in Jones County, MS, son of Nancy COPELAND and Howell LEWIS. John LEWIS's wife, Harriett ELLZEY, daughter of Evan ELLZEY appears to be the mother of Rachael Moranda but earlier on I had the name of Carrie KNIGHT and don't know where the name of COLEMAN comes in for her but there were many COLEMAN, KNIGHT, and other connecting names marrying in Jones County.
This Wesley BRIGHT could very well be the one.Looking forward to hearing more from you.

I have a WESLEY BRIGHT in the household of George W. & Magaret "Peggy" Hall Redman BRIGHT in 1860 Scott County MS.
1860 Scott County Mississippi US Census District 3: HH806 BRIGHT, G. W. 61 M W Farmer 1600 150 SC. BRIGHT, Margaret 63 F W NC. BRIGHT, Martha (Martha was not a Bright; she was Martha Redman spinster dau. of Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Hall Redman Bright) 40 F W MS. BRIGHT, James 21 M W Laborer MS. BRIGHT, Caroline 17 F W MS. BRIGHT, (Mary) Elizabeth 15 F W MS. BRIGHT, Margaret 2/12m F W MS. BRIGHT, Thomas 26 M W Laborer MS. BRIGHT, John 18 M W Laborer MS. BRIGHT, WESLEY 6 M W MS.
NOTES: The George W. BRIGHT family was enumerated on the 1850 Rankin County MS census before removing to Scott County MS. MORE NOTES: Because of Margaret "Peggy" Hall Redman Bright's advanced age I don't believe Wesley Bright was her child. He may have been a grandchild.
This WESLEY BRIGHT turns up as a 15 year old farm laborer on 1870 Holmes County MS census living in HH178 of Dallas McLellan (at this time I believe the MCLELLANS were unrelated to the Brights). In HH179 is the JOHN RICHARD & ELIZABETH (BTB Bright) HARRELL family and in HH180 next door to the HARRELLS is a boarding house being run by 50 year old spinster Martha REDMAN. I believe Martha's Mother Margaret & Stepfather George died sometime during the War...after 1860-before 1870...in either Scott or Holmes County MS leaving Martha Redman & Wesley Bright under the care of John Richard Harrell. I did not find Martha Redman or Wesley Bright in 1880 Holmes or Yazoo County MS census...Elizabeth (BTB Bright) Harrell died before 1880 and John Richard Harrell was enumerated with his second wife in 1880 Yazoo County MS.
Is it possible that there is a connection between WESLEY BRIGHT b. c1854 of (Rankin?) Scott & Holmes Counties MS and WESLEY BRIGHT m. Randa LEWIS? Would he be too young? Lee Strohm Harrell Jacksonville Florida
