Thank you for your offer of pics - this is not my line of the Brights - just try to help others as they have helped me. Glad to know that Louisa was a Turner - as it happens I had come to that conclusion. Terissa seems to have been a popular name during the time the daughters were named - I found lots of them using a popular web site and just typing in that name. There was a family of Turners that seemed just the right fit - lived just over the SC line in NC where the boundary line was in conflict for several years. Now I think the descendants can begin to put each line - maternal and paternal into shape.
My question now is: were the Brights in Limestone Springs area kin to my Brights in Welford? Tobias Bright,Adam Bright, Culvin, etc were descendants of Brights in PA and were German.Their name was probably Albright, Albrecht, or Brecht at one time. They left PA because of persecution by Col. Cresap at the time of the PA and MD border dispute.
