Looking for anyone that can help me tie together some loose ends on John Dabney Brightwell Sr, the son of Thomas Brightwell. So far I have found John and his brother Wyattt were the only males that stay in the area. Hoping that finding more on them and their sisters or anyother of the Brightwells of Spots will lead me to the family burial grounds that I know that existed, according to a record that John and Wyatt's uncle Richard Brightwell left declared that the property could be sold but the family burial ground to be kept. I have to believe that the family burial ground survived the civil war for I have to believe that John and Wyatt were buried there. John D. passed away in 1873. Any help appreciated. Another thing: we Brightwell descendants are few: we really need to work together!! We most likely could put our hertiage together back to England.
