Washington DC & Baltimore, MD Brinkley's

I am the son of Edward Clarence Brinkley (1912-1989) who was born in Washington DC. He and his sister Katherine (1908-1984) were adopted by by the Smith family. They lived on 9th st. Edward moved to Baltimore to marry and have three children. Looking for some help to follow the line back.
