Thanks for your reply.
I have just started researching the Brinkleys due to DNA analysis and matches. For years, I have had a road block on my Brown line in Bedford County, Va about 1788.When DNA analysis became available, I have found that my 67 markers match a couple of Moore people and this Brinkley line.Actually match as good as a known Brown cousin, with only 1 or 2 marker differences out of 67.So I have begun to study the Moore and Brinkleys. The Moores are from a William Moore born in Virginia (currently unknown county), married Elizabeth Scroggin in 1805 (probably in Warren Co., KY - my neighboring county where I live) and then would up in Gallatin County, Illinois very early 1800s.William's 2 sons, Harrison and Russell Moore are the ancestors of the two Moore men whose DNA I match. Now it appears that Hudson Brinkley may be somehow related (male descendancy) as he is the ancestor of the Brinkley man I match. And it appears that he is in the county in S. Illinois.Way too much coincidence for me not to take a close look.My Browns were in Bedford County, Va. from at least 1787 till 1799, then in Montgomery Co., Va until 1804, then in Russell County, Va until 1809, then Sumner County, TN - northern county boarding Allen Co., KY where I live and also Warren Co., KY where William Moore lived for a while.Do you know if the Brinkley's were in any of the above locations from 1775 until 1800?

Thanks
Freddy Brown.
