According to Robert W Brinson's book Lemuel C Brinson was born abt 1785 in Craven Co NC; he had a son Lemuel C Jr born abt 1806 that married Ferebee Gatlin 4/24/1834; Sr's father shows as Joseph born abt 1756 married Mary Speight 3/24/1784; his father shows as Cason II born abt 1724 dies abt 1777; his father Cason Sr born abt 1693 dies abt 1765; Cason Sr's father shows as Mathew born abt 1641 dies abt 1703; his father Thomas Sr born abt 1610 dies 1676.
