John
I have discovered your query on George
Brinson posted back in May and am disappointed that no one has responded. You
have asked a very important question.I am
a descendant of Drury Dunn who was connected
with the Brinsons in some way in Onslow County and I suspect that he married a Brinson. He had dealings with George, John,
and Gause. And I see that you list a Brinson
named Drury D. Brinson which I suspect is
Drury Dunn Brinson.Drury left Onslow about
1807 and moved to Hancock County, GA where he
died in 1811.I descend from his son, John,
who was mentioned in the will of a John Brinson about 1800.I appreciate what you
have posted on the family and wonder if you
had ever run across the Dunn name in your
Brinson research.Drury Dunn was likely born
in Virginia and was a Revolutionary soldier
from the Wilkinson District.
