Re: Brinson's of Rankin and Simpson Co, Ms
I've been in and outa pocket lately, my reason for being so long getting back to you.
Lordy, I don't know how much help I can be to you and Cathy
on any of ya'lls BRINSON stuff but anything that I can do to help out with, let me know.I'll be glad to surf cemeterys or my local archives (jackson, ms.) for you guys but I aint up on BRINSON history like most of the folks at this forum, but I'm learning little by little, (see my posts above)I'm almost a BRINSON I think,,,,just can't prove it,,,,yet.
I have been to most of the cemeteries in the area that should be important to you in south Rankin and north Simpson County.I've been to one cemetery southwest of Florence that has several BRINSONs there but was searching other family members and didn't take written note of the BRINSONs there. It didn't seem important at the time,,go figure.I'm gonna get a tape recorder.I've been wanting to go to Lawrence, Jasper, Smith, Covington counties to walk some cemeteries that may help me and will let you know what I see that could help you and Cathy.I know my STEVENS and your BRINSONs were all in these necks of the woods together.Let me know if theres anything in those areas that you need checking out and maybe that'll give me more incentive to git up and go.
Let me know what I can do to help and please read my recent posts at this forum and maybe all of our (you, Cathy & me) delemas can be de-delemad if we put our heads together.
