Hello Lee
You are still within the statute of limitations.
The family you are refering to are designated G 04 in my system and have quite a few branches, including USA thanks to Wm BB Jnr`s sister Sarah Ellen who went to Utah.
Starting at the beginnng, yes Wm and Julia were first cousins and this was not as rare (or frowned upon) as it may be today. Julia`s mother was Jane Reader who was one of nine children and despite the various dates and places she gave in the census was christened in 1816 in Milton by Gravesend. Jane was the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Reader. Richard was a Carpenter by trade.
William BB`s wife Margaret Williams born in 1796 in Tregarion, Cardigan daughter of William and Mary Williams.
The other brother Thomas you mentioned married first Harriet Treadwell and secondly Ann Smith(dau of John Smith---Try tracing him !!!)Thomas was a Baker in Crayford and had 3 children.
The James John BB who married Elizabeth Glue was a brother of Thos and William and was born in 1802 Crayford. He and Elizabeth ran the Public Baths in Milton and had 3 children.
James, Thomas and William had 3 sisters, Elizabeth, Sarah and Ann. Sarah had a daughter but never married, whilst Ann married and had offspring. They were all the children of William Broadbridge and Ann Monk who were married in Crayford in 1793.
I hope this helps. What is your relation to the BB family?
