Buggy Brogden (age 16) was living on the next farm to the Wilhite Family in Morgan County. Elizabeth Wilhite was the daughter of John J Morris and sister of Van Buren Morris.
A James Brogdon (age 13) is living with Thomas Wilhite also in the county. The other Brogdon family in the county, Claibourne Brogdon, is living next to two other Wilhite families.
In 1850, the John J Morris family lived next to Susan, James R, and Peter H Bregden (Brogden?). At that time Van Buren was 17.
Van Buren Morris (b. 1833) married a Caroline Brogden. I can't locate her family anywhere, and I can't find them in the 1870 census anywhere. She had died in the late 1870s and he remarried, around 1878 to Mary Adeline Chandler.
I am looking for any information on Caroline or Buggy Brogden or the connection between the Brogden family and the Wilhite family.
