BROOKOVER 1870 Muskingum Co, Zanesville
I have been looking closely at the Brookovers on page450B/34 and come to the following conclusion:
1.The family in house #258, family #258 is NOT Uriah Brookover and family but LYLLE BROOKOVER AND FAMILY!The
asst. marshall must have been having a terrible day that day.The name looks like Uriale, but the family fits exactly that of Lyle/Lylle Brookover!
2.Could the Matson Brookover be a son of our missing (Johann) Conrad Brookover? The dates could work and I certainly can't place him with anyone else! Also, Matson could be a middle name used as a first name...not the first time in our family. Was Margaret a wife (2nd/3rd) or a daughter?Who were the children?Margaret's by a former marriage or what?Whee!
3.Number 260/260 is, of course, my great grandfather, Milton C. Bookover with his first wife Catherine/Katherine
Shane. The question is, where was daughter Eura, who was born about 1872, four years before her mother died?!URK!
just caught my own mistake...she was not born yet!
Ain't family puzzles fun!?!
