Margaret VanMeter was born about 1798.Her father Isaac hanged himself (had an illness) on July 4, 1835.Margaret died a few months later with her two newborn children.She also had a son who died shortly after birth. Their other children were Mary, b. 1822; Isaac VanMeter, b. 12 July 1826; William Josephus, b. 1828; Sarah b. 1830; and Samuel Lafayette, b. 1832.They lived in Chesterfield, Wayne Co., IN.
Sarah VanMeter, b. 14 Jun 1808, Ohio; m. Samuel Brown in Wayne Co., IN. Their children were Isaac, b. 19 April 1833, Wayne Co., IN; Helen; Francis M, b. 1835; Wallace D., b. 1837; Samuel, b. 1839.(I believe Isaac was the one who later lived in Buchanan Co., MO; Wallace and Samuel signed pension papers for my great grandfather James Noland in Indiana)
Elizabeth, b. 18 Feb 1811; died 1849, Miami Co., IN; m. 4 Jan 1831, Fayette Co., IN,
George Michael Brown, b. 26 Aug 1811, d. 9 Mar 1887, Webster Co., IN (married 4 times). Their children were Helen, Joseph, b. 1839 in Cambridge City, Wayne Co., IN; Sarah Letitia, b. 9 Oct 1841, Wayne Co. (twin); Jucretia, b. Oct 1841, Wayne Co.; Josephine, b. 27 Aug 1846, Miami Co.; Olive, b. 1848, Miami Co.
