Looking for information on the first husband of Sarah Ann Ryder. She was born in December 1833. She died March 27, 1923 in Hingham, Plymouth Co., MA.She is burried in the High Street Cemetery, Hingham, MA.Her parents were Thomas Philander Ryder Sr. born August 19, 1806 in Hallowell, Maine and Sarah Perry Albee born October 10, 1808 in Medfield, Norfolk Co., MA.She had two brothers (George Horatio Ryder and Thomas Philander Ryder Jr. Thomas Philander Ryder Jr. orgt. B. Cohasset, Mass., June 29, 1836; d. Somerville, Mass, December 2, 1887.Pupil of G. Satter; organist at the Tremont Temple, teacher, successful choral director, gifted accomp.; popular piano transcriptions of Old Oaken Bucket, Nearer my God to Thee, etc. George Horatio Ryder was a famous organ builder. He was born May 09, 1838 in East Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Their sister Sarah Ann Ryder married first a Mr. Brown. She married second on September 05, 1875 to Robert Foster Robinson of Hingham, Plymouth Co.,MA. I would appreciate any information on this family. I have no informtion on the Brown connection to my Ryder family other than that noted above.Any information would be greatly appreciated.
