Re: searching for my grandmothers brown and mcneil family

I found the Brown family in 1900 they are in Spartanburg,Spartanburg Co. Sc. Dont understand why but J.H. Brown is listed as Wexler Brown (somebody got something wrong there)listed as born July 1864 NC, Nannie born May 1869 TN,Wm.H.(this could be your Howard) born April 1887 NC,Jessie L. born July 1888 NC,James V. born June 1890 NC,Stephen G. born October 1891 NC,Mina M.(Maybe your Mary)Frank born June 1899 SC. I saw That Frank was listed as born in SC on the 1910 census so looked for them in SC for 1900. Think I gave NC to you at first but clearly 1900 and 1910 have SC for place of Frank's birth. There are no twins listed Cecil born 1910 Fred 1904.Glad to help which it could have been more. Sharon
