Regarding the immigrant Abraham Browne who attained a measure of notoriety in Watertown, MA. after arriving in 1630 or so...
Various websites and IGI entries have him born in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England, while others have him born in Hawkedon, Suffolk, to different parents. All have him marrying 'Lydia', but I don't see any credible sources online supporting either birthplace. Anyone have anything concrete, or at least, likely? Thanks...
