Re: Peter Browne--Mayflower Pilgrim
Although not a descendant of Peter Browne, I am recognized by the Mayflower Society as being a descendant of 3 from that ship and was just reviewing what the Gen Forum had on Peter Browne. This is since a Wikipedia editor and I are just about completing a project to create/update Wikipedia pages for signers of the Mayflower Compact that needed attention, which was about all of them, including Peter Browne's page.
After we complete our latest batch, I was going to formally announce our works to the Forum, but thought to contact you personally.
Here is the latest version (which we just completed) of Peter Browne's Wikipedia page, which more clearly defines his family than the prior version. And sorry, the children you are looking for are not shown.
And a comment about any Ancestry sites - although the LDS has done some good works in photographing census documents and others, sites like Rootsweb have as much error as not, and I stopped paying attention to it years ago. A recent example of frustration for me is my ancestor Judith Vassall, wife of Mayflower passenger Resolved White. Resolved's mother married Pilgrim Edward Winslow when Resolved's father Pilgrim William White died, so Winslow was his step-father. I recently found that the LDS site FamilySearch has 3 erroneous entries of Judith Vassallbeing the wife of BOTH Resolved White and Edward Winslow. This has resulted in 51 erroneous entries in Rootsweb of Judith Vassall being married to both men!
If in need of genealogical research and you are really stuck, I would advise contacting the following excellent researcher who has helped me greatly in the past:
