Hi Nancy, I never did thank you for pointing out the Danbury connection which may have further use as there are Flewwellins/Flewellyns there which need sorting out. The Sarah A. you mention is the wife of Harvey T. Flewwellin. It is possible that she may have been a Brundage as the Brundages were connected by marriage to the Flewellings by marriage to each other and to other families. Harvey was the son of Coles and Filinda (Hains?) Flewwellin of Chappaqua and Yorktown, Westchester Co., NY. Coles was the son of Robert G. and Martha (Wright) Flewwellin. Robert G. was the son of Robert and Mary (Searles) Flewwellin; and Robert was the son of Robert and Maplet Flewelling of North Castle, Westchester Co., NY. This last Robert's sisters married Brundages. Jane Flewelling m. Jonathan Brundage, son of John and Johanna (Brock) Brundage of Wethersfield, CT and Rye, Westchester Co., NY. Hannah Flewelling m. David Brundage. These marriages probably took place in the 1720's. Robert, Hannah and Jane were amongst the children of Thomas and Hannah (Smith) Flewelling of Hempstead, Long Island, NY. Just wanted you to know that your posting was useful and appreciated.
