Mrs. Marie A. (Theriault) Brunelle
The funeral of Mrs. Marie A. (Theriault) Brunelle, of 342 Pawtucket street, widow of Olive Brunelle, took place yesterday at 9:45 o'clock from the funeral home, 822 Merrimack street, and at 10 o'clock at Ste. Jeanne d'Arc church a solemn high funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. Lionel Labrie, O. M. I., assisted by Rev. Donas Morisette, O. M. I., as deacon and Rev. Alphonse Houle, O. M. I., as sub-deacon.
The choir, under the direction of Arthur H. R. Ciroux, sang Abbe Perrault's harmonized requirem mass, the soloists being Mrs. Walter Ayotte, Mrs. Wilfred Fayette, Adeolphe Brassard, Napoleon Milot, Jr., Mr. Giroux, Mrs. Antoinette Dion Perras presided at the organ.St. Anne's sodality was represented by Mrs. Henry Barry, Mrs. Louis Maher, Mrs. Ferdinand Rivet, Mrs. Joseph Payette, Mrs. Raoul Pelletier and Mrs. Domeil Pelletier.The bearers were Armand Durand and Frank Emile, Walter, Eugene and Ovila Theriault.There were many spiritual bouquets and flowers.Burial took place in St. Joseph's cemetery where Rev. Fr. Houle read committal prayers.Funeral Director Leo N. Bilodeau was in charge of the arrangements.
