WILHELM LUDWIG BUBECK was born in Rothenberg, Wurttemberg, Germany on April 12, 1830, he died March 18, 1915 in Geneseo, Illinois. Wilhelm came to NYC in 1852. I was able to trace Wilhelm's family in Germany back to the early 1600's. There were 1000's by the name Bubeck/Buobeck/Bubek in the village of Rothenberg; I connected all of these families up until the 1850's. Wilhelm had one son by a 1st marriage named Charles Henry; much of this family has been link. By a 2nd marriage to Christina Hahn, Wilhelm had 5 daughters between 1868 and 1880.
