BUCHANAN - ANN AND THOMAS SCOTLAND

I'm researching my family tree and in particular Thomas Buchanan around the late 1700's who married Ann McGilveray/McGilvra. They had a Daughter Ann Buchanan born 1802. Witnesses on the Birth Certificate William Lawson, John McCulloch.
I have an address for her - New Vennell
Occupation: Yarn Winder but I don't know what period this was.
She married James Dalziel c1819 and the had a child, Janet.
